| Description | When diagrams are drawn by hand it seems that the convention is for illegitimate children to be shown as descending by dotted lines so that they are clearly identifiable. It would be very useful to add this to diagrams. The type and certainty of other parent-child relationships and partner/spouse relationships could be indicated by customised lines between their boxes. The options could include line colour, thickness, and styles such as single, double, dotted, dashed, or oblique stroke. |
