Export Gedcom File ~ (Sdr) Standard Gedcom Draft 5.5.1

Introduction

fh custom tags are converted to GEDCOM Draft standard tags by the Rules described below. Otherwise they are simply deleted, including the GEDCOM header optional FILE name tag. Synthesised Custom Events and Note Records and Source Records have a prefix Ω character (ZZ in ANSI/ISO mode or fh V5) to differentiate them from original records.

(Sdr+) Full Data Export Details

All the (Std) Standard GEDCOM 5.5 rules for (Std+) Full Data mode apply except as defined below.

Header Record (HEAD)

★ GEDCOM Version (VERS)

The GEDCOM VERSion tag value is changed to 5.5.1.

Individual & Family Records (INDI, FAM)

★ Custom Attribute (_ATTR)

Each Individual custom _ATTRibute tag is converted to a FACT tag and retains any associated value.

Each Family custom _ATTRibute tag is converted to an EVEN tag, with any associated value in its Note with an Attribute Value: label.

Each custom tag is converted to either the EMAIL or WWW tag.

Repository Records (REPO)

★ Record E-mail, Website (_EMAIL, _WEB)

Each custom tag is converted to either the EMAIL or WWW tag.

Media Records (OBJE)

★ File Format (FORM)

The FORMat tag is moved to be subsidiary to the FILE tag in all cases.

★ Media Title (TITL)

The TITLe tag is moved to be subsidiary to the FILE tag, except in local Media Objects.

(Sdr-) Brief Data Export Details

All the (Std) Standard GEDCOM 5.5 rules for (Std-) Brief Data mode apply except as defined above.

Media Records (OBJE)

Media records are removed entirely by default.
