Charting Companion is a diagram generator produced by Progeny Genealogy, which can be purchased and used in conjunction with Family Historian to offer a number of charts that are not currently provided by ƒh, such as a Fractal Tree, Dandelion Chart, Descendant Fan Chart, and Trellis Chart. It can be run via the Charting Companion Plugins are small programs that allow new features to be added without upgrading Family Historian itself; some plugins are written by Calico Pie and others are written by users. that is installed when the program is purchased and installed.

It appears that this product provides version updates very frequently. It is compatible with many other genealogy products that you may be using alongside ƒh. Don’t forget to download its User Guide and associated guides.
Charting Companion may misunderstand some ƒh custom data structures and produce incomplete charts. One workaround employs the Export GEDCOM, an acronym for GEnealogical Data COMmunication, is a specification for exchanging genealogical data between different genealogy software. It is a file format that most genealogical programs and online trees recognise. File Plugin in

(-) Brief Data chosen, so that custom data structures are converted or discarded.

The output quality is partly governed by the Options > Font tab Smoothing Threshold (although that setting may not exist for every type of chart).
