Picks up all factsFacts are one of the key concepts at the heart of Family Historian; they are how you record the things that happened to, or described, each ancestor (Individual). from most relatives of the key start person, where the facts happened in that persons life time.
The Timeline may extend any number of Years before Birth or Years after Death of the Key Individual.
The Query allows a Timeline Named ListNamed Lists are a way in FH to group related items — which can be records of any type(s) — so that you can easily find them to work with. of records to be chosen that could for example include significant historical people or events.
The only relatives omitted are those of Spouses of Ancestors.

While the Query will work with standard Facts, the results set for those Historical Facts will not look exactly like the screenshotA screenshot is an image showing exactly what you are seeing on your PC screen. You can use the free Windows Snipping Tool / Windows Snip and Sketch; on a Mac use CMD Shift 4 to capture screen-shots; all are below. In order to display the historical facts in that same style, it is suggested that a special Custom Individual AttributeEvents are things that happened to an Individual and Attributes are things that described them. should be used. So use Tools > Fact Types  follwed by the New button to create an attribute named Historical Fact with a Sentence TemplateSentences are used in conjunction with Fact Sets to produce Narrative Reports; their templates are highly customisable. such as {value} {place}< at {address}> {age}
and its Normal Time Frame set to None.
The Query also relies on a Named List of Individual recordsEvery person in your tree will have a single Individual Record, which holds all the information about that individual that you have entered. You can view and edit Individual records in the Property Box Dialogue. that are unrelated to the Key Individual. They may be just acquaintances, or significant historical figures such as monarchs, or a collection of historical facts, which could have special names such as Colonial Wars /! Historical Facts/.
