This report lists an ancestry table (Ahnentafel) generation by generation, including Kekulé numbers. The built-in ancestral outline lists the ancestors in another order which I found rather confusing, for which reason I constructed something else.
- You set your starting person as the file root (in Edit, File Root). Start the report, choose “Add Using Query”, pick the “Ancestors” QueryQuerying is a very powerful feature that allows you to specify and save criteria for identifying a set of records of a given record type. and enter your starting person. DO NOT change the order of records.
- There seems to be a maximum number of characters for the individuals’ first lines (printed in bold). It should not be made much longer than it is, because otherwise the end of it will be truncated.
