Loss of Souce Information

Post by harryb33 » 17 Apr 2012 16:03

Ooh-er,
Having just installed my new Version 5, I find that all my Source info seems to have disappeared. If I click on any of the Birth, Marriage or Death date lines, instead of the Source appearing as in V4 Citations Box, all I see is the message, 'Birth', 'Marriage' or 'Death', nor can I enter anything in any of these fields.

Have I done something wrong?

I would appreciate any help in finding where my Source details have disappeared to or how I can retrieve them from their new hiding place.

Many thanks for any suggestions from listers with more experience of FH.

Harry

It would help to give a bit more background to how your FH V4 was set-up.

Were you using a V4 Project structure with Projects listed in the File > Project Window, and are they still listed there in V5?

Did you use the default My DocumentsFamily Historian Projects folder, or some other folder?

Does the File > Project Window > Location reference the correct folder?

Does the Family Historian Sample Project work OK?

What operating system do you run Windows 7 or Vista or XP?
