Standard query

Post by somerlee » 29 Sep 2011 18:40

I have used the standard query to produce a report on relations and nearest relationship. So far so good. But what would be very useful on this report is a column giving b m and d dates. Just to get an idea of when the names in the report lived.
So I have tried to do a custom query with this added information. But could not manage it.
Has anyone tried that or has anyone got any tips that would help me.
Many thanks

Open the standard Query, select Save As Custom Query using the Query menu option.

The go to the columns tab, on the left open (by clicking on the +) the
+Events
+ Birth

and double click on Date

Then repeat for
Marriage from
+ Family As Spouse
+ Events
+ Marriage
and Death
+Events
+ Death

Selecting the Date field in all 3 cases.
