Multimedia Flags

Post by Johnyeates » 18 Jul 2011 17:03

Hi,
I find that over the years that I have set a lot of the Multimedia Census document flags to 'Exclude from Reports' and I would like to now include them in reports for my CD

The Multimedia is linked to both the Census Fact ('Census' & 'Census(family)') and to the Multimedia within the Source.

Is there some way of changing the flags on mass or adding a column of 'Flags' to the Multimedia screen so that the whole column could be edited, I can't work out how to write a query to display the flags in a column to change them, including.
Do I need to change the Source linked Multimedia as well for the Family CD?

Thanks
John

Have you tried just creating a Multimedia Query and adding the Exclude From column and then selecting and deleting the ones you no longer want?

Jane,
Thanks for the idea, but the 'Exclude From' column shows both Diagrams & Reports in the same column and I can only delete the whole phrase, not leave 'diagrams' as the exclude from item and I cannot type or paste anything in the space left.
More ideas please.

Just double click on the media record and it should open the Property box and and you can work down the list that way.

Thanks Jane,I was hoping that there was a way of highlighting the column and just overtyping.
Unfortunately it seems that I will have to change item at a time. A job for my holliday when out of internet range.
