I wish to send a CD copy of a cousins' ancestors. I seem to recall a previous programme where I could select the person in question,click 'ancestors' and lo and behold all that persons ancestors would appear.
Unless I am missing something somewhere, FH seems to require me to manually enter every person in my cousins tree. This goes back to 1480!
Any suggestions welcome.

Go to the tools menu - make a family tree CD.
Refer to CD wizard steps 1-8 in the Family Historian Help index.
Your gedcom file will need to be part of a project to follow this procedure.

Other alternatives are sending a pdf diagram or a report on your cousins ancestors.

When you get to the People list, select Add using query select Ancestors (or All relatives) and select the root person.
