I have a small problem! Having just migrated my laptop from Windows XP to Windows 7, and having faithfully backed up my program files, including Family Historian (v3.1.2) I can no longer reinstall it. Trouble is that I have upgrade CDs - 2.2.4, 3.0.0, 3.1.2 - but the original v 2 has long since disappeared! I thought that by copying the backup files back across and clicking on the .exe file, I could be back up and running ... but no joy - probably due to registry entries when (properly) installed.
Anyone any ideas how to proceed? Is there a free download of v 2 anywhere - so I can work my way back up the upgrades!!

Unable to reinstall v 3
Sorry, you will need your original V2 CD to install V3 if you have the upgrade version.
