Box Dimensions

Post by ChrisBowyer » 24 Nov 2009 05:49

I would have thought that if I set Minimum box width, Maximum box width and Standard box width all to the same value, that my boxes would all be the same width, but it doesn't seem to be the case. Have I missed something silly? Or does anyone else know how to make a diagram like this look right?

Chris I have not played much, life is a bit hetic this week, but a couple of things, I think the Max width is a bit small. What I would do is split the Name line over two lines with the surname on the second line and see if the boxes fall in to line.

Chris - the min/max box width figures do not straightforwardly set the overall box width if you are displaying pictures to the side of the text.  If you were displaying pictures in the middle of the text, or not displaying pictures at all, they would give you the results you expect.

An easy workaround though (assuming you don't want to move your pictures) is to click on 'Make All Boxes the Same Width' in the 'Pages, Rows/Columns & Boxes' submenu off the Diagram menu.
