When in a diagram raising the Individual window by double-clicking onto a box, then going to sources, selecting a source, pressing go to source, then selecting the multimedia tab, containing 4 media entries, 2 of them being jpgs, 2 of them being of type OLE (word document), I run into the following problem.
Doubleclicking an OLE gives me a view which is anything but sensefull, compared to v3 it's senseless at it's best. Since I see a portion of it (the top most left edge it being lucky, something I simply see an empty page).
Any idea why v3 did work flawlessly on that point, whereas v4 fails completely ?
Apart from that .... v4 looks quite good.

OLE object handling
To be honest I have never bothered with OLE connections, so hopefully some one else will be able to comment.
OLE object handling
Isn't there two buttons, one to click to 100% (1:1) sizing and the other to size to the window?

OLE object handling
Thank you for pointing out this issue. We will investigate it and get back to you on this thread. But please don't expect a quick response as we are still very busy with other things at the moment.
Meanwhile - if you find any more relevant details on this issue, do by all means continue to post them to this thread.

OLE object handling
Hi Simon, the issue seems to be more complicated, since I did run into issues to be done with the new implementation.
In the past there was no DOC type, and there isn't one now in v4, but word documents seem to be imported being of type DOC now against having been type OLE.
In the past I linked media like that.
stored the media using the records-multimedia way. Doing so doesn't allow for a type called DOC but OLE.
I then used sources to link lets say 4 media records onto that source.
Worked ok in the past.
In v4 I now tried it a differnt way.
Double clicking a box in a diagram, reaching for an event, adding a citation, then multimedia, then add multimedia. The DOCuments get added being of type DOC.
DOC prevents making use of object linking and embedding functions, means I'm even not able to raise the document within MS Word for editing. Instead I get a nice Windows Explorer desktop icon.
Can't easily say if v3 would have done that the same way, but as far as I remember one wasn't able to define a type differnt to the one being available from the pull down menus, which don't contain a type DOC at all.
anyway ... it's not such an essential issue, so better first concentrate on real flaws if there's any.
