As a new member this is my first topic. Although I have dabbled with family history I have little or no experience of genealogy software and am intending to purchase 'Family Historian'. However, before I do I have a question which I fear might expose my innocence!
I have undertaken, at various levels, research into my four (inc in laws) families and would want to enter these into FH.
Does FH allow for any number of individual families?

I think there may be a limit, but I do know of people with 30,000 interelated individuals in their files with out problems.
So I do not think you will find a practical limit.
