Is it possible to see the whole tree at once?

Post by jennin » 03 Jun 2006 19:21

Have installed my new Family Historian Programme and am thrilled that it is so easy to use. One thing though. On my old programme I could view the whole tree and scroll through it. On FH3 I find that it only seems to show relatives of a person who has been highlighted. Am I missing something or have I done something wrong?

Sorry about the idiot query. I have just looked at the manual again and found the diagram toolbar and the view whole diagram button.

To see every person in your file on one diagram, use the
View, Standard Diagrams, Everyone

How ever if you have a large number of people in your tree it will generate a very large diagram (my 3500 person file is a bit big!)

Spend a little time experimenting with the settings on the All Relatives diagram as this will ofen yeld excellent results especially if you center it on a couple rather than a single person.
