Basic printing question

Post by JaneC » 05 Mar 2006 17:09

Hi, first time here, sorry if this question is one of those *read the flipping manual!* ones (I haven't printed it off yet - we're virtually steam driven at home).

When I'd only put a little bit in I printed off a full tree and was very impressed that it printed right to the edge of the pages so it all made complete sense when I sellotaped it together.

Now that I'm up to many more pages I've printed off and there's a margin on each page so it doesn't all fit neatly together. Was it a fluke 1st time?  I remember fiddling with some seemingly bizarre measurement last time but can't remember what.  I did change the paper size from letter to A4 this time and I don't remember if I did that before.

Help?

Basic printing question

Much depends on your printers capablities as most can not actually print right to the edge of the paper, or only do so when a box is ticked on the printer set up.

Some printers can not print to the bottom of the page and this may be why you did not notice it before.

Basic printing question

I'm still hanging on for V3 before I print out quite a large tree as I need the 'everyone' facility. However, for a smaller one which I might have to do before the new software release turns up, how can I print it WITH the useful (for this particular purpose) the page numbers VISIBLE on the print not just in the preview.
I don't recall seeing this in the manual or on another forum posting.
