I have just visited several graveyards and now have digital photos of number of gravestones of people on my tree.
In many cases, several people are listed on the same gravestone, so I need to link the gravestone details to all of the relevant individuals.
What would be the best way of entering this in FH - I have the photo and want to include the memorial inscripiton. Obviously the source is the particular graveyard. Presumably it should be treated as some form of multimedia object, or does FH have a specifc gravestone feature to record this ?
I would be interested to hear how other people record this information.
many thanks,
Jeremy

I would tend to make the Graveyard the repository, and the stone the source.
I can then enter the text in to the source and attach the photo to the source. Of course you could still have a source for the graveyard as well if you wanted.
If you want to do it the other way simply make a shared note for the Gravestone information and attach it to each source citation along with the multimedia link to the photo.
If you use the second method you can do one and then use the copy/paste source to add it to all the other people on the same stone.
