post showing as unread even though I've read it

Post by BillH » 31 Aug 2013 16:21

I'm having a problem with the unread flag on a posting. It is in the V5 forum and is titled Website CD created with V5. I'm not having this problem with any other post.

I also just noticed that this post was supposedly replied to by Mike (tatewise), but I can't see that reply.

I am seeing exactly the same. Still showing as unread, and can't see the reply from Tatewise. As this is an old post I am guessing maybe it has just been moved from elsewhere or something has just been deleted.

Yes, I moved it and deleted my original reply, which advised posting in V5 Usage Forum.
I also bumped it to the top of the Forum to give it an airing, as it had no response from members.
Have you tried the 'Mark topics read' link top right? Sorry it is causing a problem.

Mike,

Not sure what you did other than replying to the post again, but it is working fine now. I just went into the post and back out again and it marked it as read. I didn't have to use the "mark topics read" button.

Thanks,

Bill
