I have many place names as a full address
i.e 267 Borough Road, Grimbsy, Lincolnshire, England
that came out how I wanted it on reports.
When I put my gedcom in FTM it doesnt like this 'place name' and reading all the posts about it. Seems I am doing it wrong.
So I have started to put
place: Grimbsy, Lincolnshire, England
address: 267 Borough Road
Looking at the sentence on the fact tab of the property box I have the way the address should show
267 Borough Road, Grimbsy, Lincolnshire, England
When I open a report say descendant outline, I get
Grimbsy, Lincolnshire, England 267 Borough Road
What am I doing wrong please.

You are doing nothing wrong.
That is the way Reports are organised.
I agree they would read better if Address and Place were the other way round.
Perhaps something for the Wish List.

Thanks for the reply.
So how can I get the correct setting, without going through every fact in the report and editing manually? A very long process!

In your case, if you want the FH Reports with 'conventional' addresses as they were before, then you will have to keep the whole address in the Place field.

You don't need to change every fact in the report, just every fact type in the Fact Set.Melagbe said:

But the Fact Set Sentences do not alter Ancestor/Descendant Outline nor Individual Summary nor Family Group Sheet Reports.
They only affect Narrative Reports.
Melagbe specifically mentioned Descendant Outline Reports
