I noticed that I recorded the same spouse twice. I went into edit and deleted one.
However it still comes up in the diagram as an empty box, married to the original husband.
Is there any way of completely deleting this error?
Any help would be much appreciated.

You will need to delete the 'family' record for the duplicate spouse. Go to the All tab of the husband's property box (or expand his record in the records window) and scroll down to the two 'Spouse family' fields. Select the one which now has no spouse name and hit the delete key.
(Do make sure first that there is no other information attached to this family - e.g. that all children are correctly attached to the first instance of the spouse).
