I have just got a new computer and installed Family Historian 4 from my old one. However although pictures seem to be there all census images that I saved with families have disappeared. Any suggestions and how do I avoid this in the future if I get a new computer (luckily this time there weren't many of them. Many thanks

Losing census images
There may be some useful tips in this article in the FHUG Knowledge Base:
http://www.fhug.org.uk/wiki/doku.php?id ... e_settings
It would help to know if you use the recommended Project facility introduced in FH v4. If so, were the census images in the Media folder or just the pictures that are still appearing OK? Do you still have access to the old computer, which might allow you to copy the missing images to the new computer?
