Node colours while printing?

I have checked node colours as 1-blue 2-red while printing to PDF of Individual Record Details. I note that all nodes come out blue.
Is there a workaround I have not found please?

Does the Individual have any Family facts? Only Family facts have their nodes Red.

I do not have the program available on this computer but I do know that the nodes showed both blue & red on the screen therefore I would expect them to print as such.

First check the Individual Record Details Report has its Options set to Installation Settings.

Presumably, when you say 'printing to PDF' you mean using Save Report As... > PDF File?

Alternatively, you may be using Print and choosing Family Historian PDF.

Whichever method is used, does the PDF file itself have correctly coloured nodes?

If it does then your printer is not reproducing the colours correctly.

Thank you for your comments.
I am using Print and then selecting to print via the FH PDF printer and it is producing a pdf version of the report. When I view the pdf a node dots are blue whereas on screen before printing they are both red and blue. No printer is involved.
As I see it if it can produce blue nodes via PDF it should manage red.
I suspect the problem must be the pdf driver for FH

It works fine for me, either using Print and Family Historian PDF, or Save Report As... PDF File.... The following image is a screen-grab from the resulting PDF viewed in Foxit Reader:

Pleas clarify exactly which version of FH you are using.
Open FH and use Help > About Family Historian and check the Family Historian Version is 4.1.3.

Please also clarify which operating system you are using.
Windows 7, Vista, XP or some other?

Which PDF viewer are you using - Adobe Reader or another?

Have you ever had any other PDF virtual printer software installed?

I am just trying to think what may be upsetting the colours in your PC setup.

The clue was in the question what viewer?
I was using PDF-XChange.
I installed Adobe and it worked perfectly.
There is a moral here somewhere; don't buy software when there is a free alternative.

Just for clarification, in case anyone else is interested, which PDF-XChange did you buy?
Tracker Software Products list several alternatives at
http://www.tracker-software.com/pdf-xch ... ison-chart.
One is free, others 27 to 54 Euros.

The free Adobe Reader does as it says and just views PDF files.
Other good free PDF Viewers have been mentioned in these threads.
However, many of the PDF-XChange products allow creation and editing of PDF files as well.

OK, Version 4 pro which includes viewer. I produced the PDF using FH which then opened the XChange Viewer as the default viewer. I have not tried producing the PFD from XChange because I assumed that the FH driver would be the most suitable for its own program.

Just as a note... I use the free PDF-XChange Viewer version 2.5 and I get both red and blue nodes without any problem.

If you have paid 54 Euro for PDF-XChange PRO Version 4 and it does not display colours correctly then I would ask for my money back as the product would appear to be faulty.

E-mail them the PDF that displays OK in Adobe Reader and ask them why it is not displayed correctly in PDF-XChange PRO Version 4.
