When I view data using either 'Events' or 'All' I notice that dates of birth and death are duplicated.
What have I done wrong and how do I remove the duplicates other than one by one?

Duplication of DoB and DoD
Difficult to imagine you've entered them twice without realising... If you've been doing some merging, and the facts weren't identical in the two merged records you'd get this effect. You can choose which one to keep in the merge records dialogue, but that's not much help to you now. I don't think there's any easy way to sort them out except one at a time. Perhaps someone else has a better idea?...

The simplest way to clean up is to do a query with columns for the first and second version of each event and then you can either delete the 'wrong' one directly or work with the property box to sort out which is the correct one.
