It would be nice to be able to copy and paste records (and fields) between two running copies of FH. Rather than go through all the hassle and complexity of using the split tree helper function (STHF) and then importing for a few records it would be simpler and quicker to select the records in question and paste them into the destination Gedcom. Since only a few records would usually be involved a manual merge can easily be carried out.
