Help, When I save / export or any part of a Gedcom file from FH, if I try to open it in its 'Gedcom' format in another application, all I get is a message that this file is not supported on 'System32'

You are probably best asking for the reason on the 'Other Application' Site to see what the issue is with your file.

No program should be putting out system32 level errors.

Have you tried removing media links and named lists etc when exporting?
