Printing PDF

Post by gerrynuk » 12 Feb 2010 11:48

I have been sent a single page pdf which measures 42.5in by 8.5in. I would like to print it out on several A4 pages for filing but can't seem to find the right options in Adobe Reader. Can anyone advise please how I can do this?

Many thanks,

Gerry

I have never found a way to do this using Adobe Reader itself, but you might find the following method works for you.

In Adobe Reader, use Copy File to Clipboard from the Edit menu.  Then open the Windows Paint accessory and use Ctrl-V or menu option Edit ... Paste.  Then you can print separate pages from Paint.

Peter,

Huge thanks for that! It turned out that the pdf image was quite low resolution (made with FTM!) so I used the snapshot tool to highlight the image in Adobe Reader then pasted it into Paint, as you suggest. Works at treat.

Regards,

Gerry
