To make sure Jane I am posting this here as I am sure not part of V5 forum
Would it be possible if not already done so, to approach Calico for an App for the Ipad & Iphone as other software has done ??

There are wish list items for this, but it's worth remembering that you can not reuse any existing code to write iPad/Android apps so they would need to be completely written from scratch. This is why they typically have much less power than full PC/iMac programmes.
So as a small company, I suspect if Calico were to develop them it would mean less development on the core program.

An alternative approach may be to use PC Remote Control.
As long as your iPad (or any other remote device) has a G4/G3/WiFi Internet connection, then it can control your PC and run FH remotely.
A requirement is that you must leave your PC switched on, with the PC Remote Control software running, before you leave home (or have someone at home to switch it on).
Also the PC must NOT revert to a standby mode or idle state after a period of inactivity.
Note that media file transfers may be slow or expensive, and best left until you get home.

Thank you Jane & Mike. I will certainly try PC remote control.
