Hello all,
I have some letters written by my grandfather in 1915/1916. They are all written in pencil, a couple are very faded, and one is so thin I fear it will soon tear in the folds. They have all been kept folded in their original envelope all this time!
I have scanned them and transcribed them so there is no need for more man-handling but how best to keep them?
I would appreciate suggestions from more experienced family historians than me!

I would recommend getting some archival quality clear pockets and folders, they need to be acid and lignum free. If at all possible keep the letters flat and in a dark dry place.

S & N Genealogy Supplies - http://www.genealogysupplies.com/ also sell archival quality sleeves in various sizes as well as acid free card inserts. I use their long certificate binders.
