I use Notes rather than Events for bits of information that I am happy to appear as separate paragraphs below the basic stuff.
But sometimes I have just a phrase that I want to include in with the Events, eg: Ran away to sea. So I defined a Custom Event called 'Info'. This works fine except when the person has no other events at all. Then either the phrase comes in front of the name, or the phrase appears by itself, instead of the name.
(By the way, I love the way the basic Narrative is put together, along with the ability to tweak the sytax of the sentence.)

What sentence template do you have for the event/Attribute?
I suspect you need to ensure you do your phrase so that you can use
{he/she} {note}
or similar.

The unadorned entry reads 'John Savage, son of Robert Savage and Catherine Stanley, died in 1492.'
If I put 'He was the eldest son.' in the new 'Info' Event with a template of {info}, the entry now reads 'He was the eldest son. John Savage, son of Robert Savage and Catherine Stanley, died in 1492.' (Right structure, wrong order.)
As you suggested, I modified the 'Info' template to {individual} {info}, and the sentence at the bottom of the events creation panel says 'He was the eldest son.' (Just what I want.)
But the Narrative now reads 'John Savage, son of Robert Savage and Catherine Stanley, was the eldest son. He died in 1492.' (Not quite what I want - the sentence has become a phrase, and in the wrong place.)
It seems that if their is only one other attribute (occupation, child count etc) the Narrative always turns the sentence into a phrase to make the narrative less staccato. Unless you have any ideas, I can live with it.
