tribal pages

I have just looked at a tree on Tribal Pages after a relative invited me to view her tree. Has any one experience of using this site and would you recommend it? If not what family tree websites would you recommend? Another relative has put his tree on rootsweb.Very generous of him as it is helping so many people with their family research.JN

I have not used many of the 'family sites' I am afraid, as I host my tree on my own site, I have uploaded stubs of my tree to Genes Reunited and Ancestry, but not a full tree.

I have a tree on Tribal Pages and am now using this as my main online tree.
I also have one on Ancestry and genesreunited these are both scaled down especially the genes tree.
I find it helps to spread things if you want people who may have a common interest to contact you.
You can add a tree to Tribal pages for free and you can choose the level of privacy. It only costs your time in uploading and adjusting the settings so it may be worth giving it a try.
