pdf converters

A translator has asked me to scan a latin document into my computer and send it in PDF form so that he can help me transcribe it. Difficult as I do not have a PDF convertor.Can anyone advise whether any of the free converters advertised online are reliable and safe to download.

There are several recommended in the Knowledge Base have you checked them out?

Just search in the Knowledge base for PDF
