I want to produce a clone of a part of my tree for a distant cousin to use with the Read-only download.
No problem getting the tree split (after using Save As for the copy), but when the file is prepared for emailing the multimedia files are left behind and don't show.
I've tried copying the entire folder in which are the gedcom and all related sub-folders and files, then splitting the tree, but then can not remove unwanted sub-folders and files. The Delete Unlinked Folders etc doesn't seem to work for me.
Can't see a reference to this on a forum; please, what am I missing?
Martin.

FH does not have a packaging option. What you could do is use the FHC program I made ages ago to convert the file and group all the linked media into a folder which you can then zip and send.

That's because FH only removes the references to the files from within the Gedcom. It doesn't touch the original files. You have to manually remove all the unwanted files and folders and then delete any unlinked folders/files from the Tools->Work with External file links menu option.
