Gedcom Census - bug?

Post by pricero1 » 29 Apr 2006 22:59

Every time I enter a particular 1841 census entry I get a Run-time error 9.  I have succesfully entered other census information before and afterwards.  I have re-booted my PC and still get the same error.

The error happens just after pressing 'auto-type'.  Here's a screenshot.

Any help from Nick would be most welcome.

Thanks......Robin

Gedcom Census - bug?

Yes it sounds like a bug reported by Sue Green a couple of months ago which is fixed in the next version that I hope to release sometime in the next few weeks. It can happen when the 'head' of household has multiple family records.

If you send me an email (nsw@eidosnet.co.uk) so I know your address I'll send you a version of the current Gedcom Census with the bug fixed.

Gedcom Census - bug?

I'm updating some of the old Gedcom Census related threads now that version 5.1 has been released.

This error should not occur in the new version of Gedcom Census.
