The main issue is that Gedcom Census doesn't just create a census entry. If you are using 'method 1' it creates a source, several census events, probably occupation attributes, maybe some birth events. It might also create a multimedia object and then link all of these together. It would be a very non-trivial task to get Gedcom Census to pull all these things back together to allow edits to be made, particularly as I would have to watch out for any changes that have been manually made to any of these events and attributes since they were created.
It is a fairly easy process to make changes to the entry in Family Historian so I can't see the need to spend the many hours it would take to add a feature which you would hardly ever use (I've added around 550 census entries to my own tree but perhaps have made use of this feature about 5 times).

Bill Gates earns a lot of money from his software, mine is free. If you want to pay me a couple of hundred quid I'll do it
Seriously though, Gedcom Census is for creating census records because doing it in Family Historian takes a long time. However, editing in Family Historian is so easy that Gedcom Census doing it is just reinventing the wheel.

You say there is no need to edit Gedcom Census as you can edit FH, but what if you make a mistake on entering data in GC (eg. Wrong name)?[frown]

Then make the necessary changes in Family Historian. Gedcom Census doesn't do anything that can't be done manually in Family Historian. If you've added the wrong person copy and paste the census event (and if applicable occupation event) from the person to the one you should have chosen and then delete the census event (and occupation if applicable) that refer to the census in question.
If you need a more detailed explanation let me know exactly what you're trying to do.
Cheers

Actually I've just realised I may have misunderstood you. If you choose the wrong person and haven't saved the entry yet in Gedcom Census, just click on the little X button at the end of the row the person is on at the bottom of the main screen.
