windows7 'snap' facility and Ancestral Sources

Post by stewart60 » 09 May 2012 16:29

I've been using the 'Snap' facility of Windows 7 to open 2 windows side by side - each window being half of the screen.

However, when I try this with Ancestral Sources, it seems that the AS window is larger than half and it 'overlaps' the other window!

Am i doing something wrong!?

You are doing nothing wrong.
AS has a minimum window size to ensure all its essential panes remain visible and usable.
This size is greater than half a typical monitor width.

You might like to try an alternative narrower font such as Arial Narrow or Gill Sans MT Condensed or Tw Cen MT Condensed that will allow the window to be smaller.
See Tools > Customise > Font.

That's great-

Changed font to Arial Narrow and it did just the trick!

Thanks!
