Ancestral Sources update

Is there any further news when we can expect further updates to Ancestral Sources? The last news on here was in December last year promising an update soon.

Ancestral Sources update

Sorry I'm simply finding it very difficult to make time to finish it off. The next version (deaths and burials) is quite close to being ready for testing and has been for months. I've got the boring stuff like creating templates and updating the help pages to do.

I'll try and make an effort to get it finished soon.

It's good to know there are folks out there like Nick, Jane, and Mike who are willing to put so much time into developing features for use with FH, unpaid and alongside their day jobs. Sometimes our impatience has to be tempered by considering how much we really need the next feature against the effort required by these guys to provide it.

It's more like .... we really love using a really good software to enter data in FH ..... but it's a little like a unfinished baby if you have loads of data piling up into a huge heap that you want to enter

hence the little frustration

[grin]
