For some reason. This site lost some of its permissions. There have been errors writing to files. There are problems for some users. I am working with the ISP to resolve the problem. If you sign out, you will still be able to access the site as a guest.
There is no need to sign out if your id is working ok. I estimate about 25% of users currently have a problem.
