* Trying to decide what sources to split.
Trying to decide what sources to split.
I imported an RM9 database containing lumped sources to do with travel, immigration and emigration. These often involve a group of people travelling together. To me, this feels very similar to the census situation. One has a common transcription that relates to all members of the group. If changes are made to notes, then they should likely affect all the travelling group. That logic seems to imply that I should consider using splitting here, too. Does this approach make sense or am I missing something? I'm asking, because changing later on could be a lot of work.

That's how I handle e.g. passenger lists.

Thank you, both.
