New Radio 4 series on DNA testing — The Gift

Post by Tony Jones »

Apologies if this is too far off topic for the FHUG, but thought people might be interested in a new series of real stories connected with DNA testing. The Gift begins on Monday 11 September at 11am with episodes broadcast on BBC Radio 4 weekly. Episodes will be available to listen back on BBC Sounds.

If you have provided a DNA sample to a commercial company, the additional episode aired today investigating the major 23andMe data breach in October is essential listening. It’s a balanced description of what was inevitably going to happen somewhere.

Even today, four month on, not all the providers have implemented Two Factor Authentication to help secure accounts. Has yours…?
