Website time?

Post by laz_gen » 03 Jun 2023 21:26

I have just voted on a wish list item and the time stamp appears to be showing several hours into the future.

Is the server clock out of sync with real time?

Strange. I've just looked and the it says I voted at 2:30 am tomorrow!

I think it more likely that it's a time zone issue rather than the clock on the server being wrong.

I voted for an item at 09:05am (Greek time, so 07:05 UK time) and it is shown as 01:05pm. The forum time itself (as shown on the Home page) is showing correctly.

Yup - I just commented at 10:55pm on today's date. It is still daylight outside and no sign of a TARDIS... (A long way of saying that my local comment time was 16:55)

So the list is set at UTC+7. That’s central Siberia plus Vietnam and surrounding countries. Fair bet there aren’t many FH users in that area...🙂
