I have a source based on a source template to cite the 1871 census. In the side panel of the citation window the footnote reads as desired:
30 March 1851. Record for occupants of East Scotston, Auchterhouse, ANS, SCT. Original Data: National Records of Scotland 273/1/4. Accessed through www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk on 2 June 2023
I copied this citation and applied it to a birth fact. The footnote side panel of the citation windows reads as before.
But, when I run the Individual Summary report, the Source for the birth fact appears correctly, but for the 1851 Census fact it reads:
Scotland Census for Occupants of East Scotston, Auchterhouse, ANS, SCT
I am at a loss to understand why and what to do to fix it. Does anyone have any ideas?
Marlene

Re: Inconsistent Footnotes
That's a 'Short Footnote'. In the Report Options, on the Sources Tab, untick 'Use Short Footnotes for Citations to Already-Cited Sources' and you'll use the full footnote for every citation.
