Sentence Template with extra period

Post by Gary Carson » 24 Feb 2023 03:33

I have a number of fact sentence templates that have an extra period after the PLACE element when additional elements follow.

See example below.

Gary, this was discussed at length some time ago and led to FH V17.0.17.1 introducing the {inline-note} code where you want Note text to be embedded within a sentence instead of starting a new sentence needing a period.
See posting Difference between {note} and {inline-note}? (21152).
See https://www.family-historian.co.uk/v7-updates for 7.0.17.1 Summary of Key New Features and Reports and Books.
See FH Help > More Dialogue Boxes > Fact Types Dialogue > Sentence Template Codes under Note (long) and Note (inline).
