Image Titles - suggested enhancement
I have a template set for the census image titles which is fine for all the census except 1921 where there is also an image with the address. I manually change the title on that image after it's been saved in to FH to add (address).
Would it be possible to when you select the Enter your own title option to copy which ever title is currently selected in to the box ready to be edited?
Edit 30/01: See reply viewtopic.php?p=133636#p133636 AS already has something that meets my needs!

It should be possible to put a formula into the image title template to include the address if the year of the census is 1921. If you reply with what your current census image title template is and what you would want it to be if it was the 1921 census then I should be able to let you know the change to make.

Sorry, I didn't make myself clear. I have the template set correctly for the main image. Its just for the 1921 census where each source has two images, I don't like having two images with the same title. I therefore add "(address)" to the second one so I can see which is which. To save keying I initially use the template name for both and after saving the source and returning to FH I amend the title.
I suppose what I'd like is some way when the source being created has multiple images is an option to give a suffix to be added to an individual templated image title to differentiate them without having to key the whole title.
My first thought was copying the template name in to the field to be amended.

I've just realised not all the fields used in the template title may have been entered when the image is added, so my first idea wouldn't work anyway!

This is also the case for 1911, as that has an address page as well. I simply save the address file image with 'Address' on the end of the same filename used for the census data page, then add both images in AS as normal. The source record created then has both images in one place (with two media records). Not sure what alternative approaches there may be, but that seems simple and tidy.

Aye jelv,
I use the same method as Chris Read describes.
As for "names?", when entering multiple pages from the same census, end the title with the appropriate page number works for me.
I hope this helps.

It's not clear from the others if they are using the image name as the title, but both say they are using the same base name and adding a suffix to differentiate the pages.
Allowing a suffix to be entered (if needed) would apply to both the Same as source title and Use Image Template options. It would just need a box to enter the suffix which was only enabled when one of those two options is chosen.
GAAARGH! It looks like what I wanted is already there all along!
While typing this reply I had the AS screen open and wondered what the Additional Information box at the bottom was for. It looks like keying "address" in that box and having ({IMAGEINFO}) (with a preceding space) at the end of the Census Image Title Template does exactly what I want.
