Customising Colums in Records Window

Post by Gowermick » 16 Dec 2022 08:47

I am viewing some generic sources in the records Window, some of which I know have the Author Field set to "TNA", which I wish to remove. However I cannot get the author field to show in a column in the Records window!

When I Right-Click column heading to configure Columns, the 'Author' item is not listed, so I can't select it to show in the records window.

Any suggestions?

NB Using a query is not a satisfactory solution

When choosing configure columns on the source records tab. In the left hand side of the window scroll right down to the bottom and choose <Other...> (Very last item) to add to RHS. The add Column dialogue opens, click on <<Insert Data Ref... and Author can be chosen from there. Add your own choice of heading and away you go.

Thanks John, just what I wanted.
I did think of using other, but didn't know what expression to enter!
I forgot all about using Insert Data Reference

Does beg the question why it isn't in the list!
