Witness name on a marriage

Post by jelv » 14 Dec 2022 12:21

If I add a female witness to a marriage who is an individual in file and the witness was married at the time of the wedding, should it insert their married name in the auto text? I can edit it, but I wondered if this was something it ought to do.

Hi John

I don't think it does that currently, but it's something I might be able to do in a future update. Thanks for the suggestion.

As a note - I have a wish list request on this subject (for FH) with a potentially wider scope.
