Collins Leeds Clustering (CLM) Labelling chart

Post by gsward » 30 Oct 2022 13:39

It would be useful if we had a report/query that generated the ahnentafel labelling chart as described here https://www.danaleeds.com/labeling-dnag ... -clusters/

The labelling of the four grandparents (A to D) could be omitted but note the numeric labelling of the subsequent groups.

I can create something looking like this from the Ancestors chart but cannot then save that in an editable format in, say, Excel. That suggests it needs to be configured as a query, but can that be done?

An example of a chart is shown:

Yes, it can be done in a Query as you suggest by using the =AhnentafelNumber(...) function.
See FHUG Knowledge Base > Downloads > Individual Queries> Ahnentafel by Generation, which is the same function I suspect you used in the Ancestors chart.
