Merging duplicate person with two different ID numbers
I have a few cases of duplicate people with different ID numbers that I would like to merge into one person. For instance, Sophie Jane Spence has both ID number 4109 and 6351. Her father James Spence has ID numbers 6343 and 6356. How do I merge these duplicate people? This was easily done in TMG. I'm have a difficult time figuring out how to do it in FH. Any and all help greatly appreciated. Thanks. -- Carl

Re: Merging duplicate person with two different ID numbers
See Merge/Compare Records and Branches and the Merge/Compare Dialog.
You will be doing a Basic Record Merge. It's important to check that you've not only merged the individual records for Sophie but also for her parents.
Although Correcting Duplicate Spouses/Families talks about merging families, it's useful to see how the process works... and it's still relevant to V6/7.
