I recently saw neil40's "Census UK Tab - my take" entry and downloaded his template and modified it for the United States. I made two versions of it. One is from 1790 to 1950 and the other is from 1950 to 1790. I will use the latter since most my research in the USA is after 1880 and this puts the populated data at the top of the list.
I'm not sure what the protocol is for templates such as these (I have not seen a place in the library for simple downloads), so if someone would suggest how to proceed, I would be happy to share it. If we don't have a place to keep templates like these, it would be nice to start something to make it easier to find them, and to tell if there are similar copies already out there?? Here is a partial screenshot.
Thanks to David Potter for making the first version of the UK tab, and to Neill Grantham for his version of it, and also to Mike Loney for his post of the place boxes at the top.

Chris,
There is a place to share these in the Knowledge Base. The list of available property box tabs is here:
https://fhug.org.uk/kb/download-type/property-box-tabs/
In the sub-forum Maintaining The Knowledge Base there are instructions on how to use the sub-forum. I believe you could make your tabs available by posting them in that forum with any other instructions or information that is appropriate and one of the moderators would add them to that page.

We prefer people use this link to add downloads to the KB: Add/Update a Download
It allows us to collect all the info we need in a structured fashion.
