Property Box - viewing complete page with Census UK tab
I have just downloaded the Census UK tab for the Property box but I am unable to scroll down to see the lower part of the window. There is a line with "more" and 2 arrows which will highlight when I move the mouse over it, but nothing else. Should this move the window up/down somehow so that the other information can be seen? I have enlarged the window as much as my screen allows.
I'm sure it is a simple fix but can't seem to find it!
Thank you.

This was discussed before in this forum post, Property Box (10775).
By the way, your image did not get attached to your posting. Did you use the Attachments link under the compose window when you were composing your message? You can also drag and drop the image file into the compose window to attach it.

Re: Property Box - viewing complete page with Census UK tab
Thank you for your response Bill, I have looked at the Property Box post but it does not help my query. My problem relates only to the Census UK tab. I have now been able to click on the "more" line and extra information appears. However it seems the problem is that the window is too deep for my laptop screen and there seems no way to scroll up through the page. I have the Source pane at the RH side so not taking up space at the bottom.
I have tried again to attach an image but unsuccessfully.
Any ideas will be much appreciated!

Susie, it may be an FH V6 problem because in FH V7 there is a vertical scroll bar rather than a horizontal More bar.

Are you also finding that your whole "desktop" is too big for your screen and you are looking to actually scroll the desktop? (As if your screen is a window looking into a house onto a real desktop that is too big to see it all at once)
This is a problem that I have had with netbooks that have "non standard" screens (eg. HP mininote 2133). There is often a keystroke combination to "scroll the desktop". Alternatively you may be able to adjust your screen resolution to something that matches the screen "pixel dimensions". (I know how to do that in Linux, but in Windows ... I'm guessing it might be somewhere like Windows > Preferences > Monitor?)

Susie,
Following on from Davids suggestion, it may be worthwile updating your monitor drivers. An out of date driver can cause all sorts of weird behaviour, as I found out
Further to that, if you right click the desktop, you may be able to adjust the resoluion of the screen. Mine is set to 125%, but if I reduce it to 100%, the text and windows get smaller, but I am able to see more on the screen.
EDIT Whoops, got it reversed. The bigger the %age, the smaller the text and windows gets, allowing more to be shown on screen

Re: Property Box - viewing complete page with Census UK tab
Thank you for all your replies. I have tried again to upload a screenshot taken using the Snipping Tool, I have also tried dragging the file, but to no avail. Anyway, my problem is only with the Census UK window. My desktop is the correct size.
I suspect it is in fact a problem related to using V6 - I certainly do not have the vertical scroll bar shown in the example. That would solve the problem. Perhaps it is time to upgrade to V7!
Again, many thanks for the help.

Re: Property Box - viewing complete page with Census UK tab
I have double-checked on my copy of FH V6 and it is a problem with that older version that is fixed in FH V7.
The problem is made worse by having 3 rows of data for each Census year.
The text font size in your screenshot is quite large, so you could reduce that and get more Census years displayed.
Click the cog icon Menu top right of the Property Box and choose Options....
Then next to Fonts for Text click Select... and choose a point Size of 8 (or even type in 7).
Finally, click OK and OK again.

Mike - thank you again for your help and apologies for the rather large screenshots. They look a lot larger than on my desktop. I will check the fonts as you suggest and look to using V7.

Re: Property Box - viewing complete page with Census UK tab
Agree that the issue may have been solved by the provision of a vertical scroll of the Property Box in FH v7 which I requested Simon to implement.
