I've just started that monthly process of backups but decided to check for latest versions of plugins first. The "Backup & Restore FH settings" plugin returned an "E. Not in Store" error. My current version is 3.1. I searched the plugin store manually, and found an old version 1.3 of 2019 fame. I then searched the forums & found a post wherein Mike indicated he updated the store to v3.3 on the 29 Mar 2022. (viewtopic.php?f=42&t=20493&p=123424&hil ... up#p123424)
Help! I can't find it after my "man" look.
Cheers .......
Malcolm.

Re: Backup & Restore FH Settings v3.3
Malcolm,
There was a problem with the latest version in the store. It has been withdrawn so that at the moment there isn't one in the store.
See the post by Tatewise (Mike) at the end of this thread.

Re: Backup & Restore FH Settings v3.3
Malcolm, if plugin V3.1 worked for you last month then it will work just fine now.
The updates were to support new scenarios such as files with foreign language Unicode characters in filenames and associated features that became compromised with USA format date-times. I am working on a fix.

Re: Backup & Restore FH Settings v3.3
Thanks for the update Mike.
And thanks for the support you and your like-minded off-siders provide with plugins and responses in these forums.
BTW I had a read of the post suggested by BillH. The suggestion of running scripts is probably easy for technically minded users. I have been assisting some users who, due to a lack of computer experience, have difficulty copying a project and renaming it for use as a sandpit file. Having a simple, easy to use means to back up FH settings is a necessary requirement, but please keep in mind, some users are computer il-literate and need a straight forward, easy option.
Again, Thanks
Malcolm.

Re: Backup & Restore FH Settings v3.3
Are you talking about a "sandbox file", i.e. a Copy of a Project on which to experiment?
No computer expertise is needed. In the FH File > Project Window... use the More Tasks > Copy Project option!
