I have a very old version of FH. version 2.1.8. When I loaded it on my last laptop I was told to upgrade to 2.3.5.
I now have a new laptop but don't seem to be able to download 2.3.5.
Any idea what I should do now?

Re: upgrading
Are you saying you can't find the 2.3.5 download? (It's at the downloads archive).
Or that it won't install?
In any case version 2 is so old you will struggle to find anyone who can help if you need advice. Is buying V7 out of the questions? You wont lose any data, and you'd get a lot of potentially very useful functionality. Of course, you may be very happy with V2 and not need all the new functionality
If you want to know what's new since Version 2, look at the Family Historian tour

Re: upgrading
Thank you for your prompt reply. I tried downloading the upgrade but it didn't do anything for me. My husband says he will treat me to a V7 to prevent future problems. I have also posted another message asking if any data conversion from 2 to 7 is completely automatic.
